COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS
A copy of instructions on how to complete the scannable forms would be supplied to applicants.
Applicants are advised to read very carefully the instructions in the instructional guide, scannable admission forms and the
admission brochure before completion.
Applicants are requested to attach much importance to the shading/completion of the scannable and the supplementary admission forms. Wrong shading or partial completion of forms will result in the
rejection of the application forms.
Applicants for Diploma, Post-Diploma and Mature programmes will use the scannable admission forms.
Applicants should fill only the front page (in pencil). The supplementary admission forms should be filled in ink.
Three (3) pre-paid envelopes, two of which are blank official envelopes will be provided and should be self-addressed by applicants. Due to wrong and insufficient address(es) provided by applicants on the selfaddressed
envelopes, a number of letters in connection with admissions are returned unclaimed. Applicants are advised to provided a correct and current address which would speed up correspondence between the University
and the applicants.
Applicants are required to give the following information at the back of the large EMS envelope: (a) full name (b) postal address ( c) first choice programme and (d) circle the application category which should be one of
the following: SSSCE/WASSCE, Mature and Post-Diploma.
A change of programme after the submission of application form would
NOT be allowed.
SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS
(a ) All completed application forms should be sent by POST and NOT delivered by hand. Application forms for Mature candidates should reach The Deputy Registrar, Division of Academic Affairs (DAA), University of Cape Coast not later than Monday, January 3, 2011.
All other application forms should reach The Deputy Registrar,Division of Academic Affairs (DAA), University of Cape Coast not later than Friday, March 4, 2011.
Applicants are to ensure that application forms are posted early enough to be received before the respective deadline indicated above for the submission of completed application forms.
COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS RECEIVED AFTER THE ABOVE DEADLINES WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
(b) No additional documents will be accepted after submission ofapplication forms. Applicants are to note that only photocopies of certificates or result slips should accompany completed application forms. Application forms received without photocopies of result slips would be disqualified. Original results/certificates of applicants
offered admission will be inspected before registration. The documents accompanying the application forms are not returnable.

The following programmes are available for the 2011/2012 Academic Year. SSSCE/WASSCE applicants should ensure that the programme codes indicated as their 1st and 2nd choice options on the scannable admission forms are the same as those indicated at pages 54-56.
Mature candidates are advised to select only programmes that are applicable as indicated at pages 54-56.
